Can anyone tell me if it would be possible to get the border pass with a Thai ID, then walk out the Thai side exiting on a foreign passport. Then enter Myanmar with the Thai ID border pass and return to Thailand on the Thai border pass or with a Thai passport. Thus, rendering the foreign passport floating in nowhere land? Are the lines different? Would the officials notice one person with two passports, coming in, going out?

doubt it would work. Land borders like to have their in-out stamps all side by side and like to make sure that there are in-out stamps from the other side.

If you are going to do the passport swap, best get a cheap flight down to Singpore. Depart on the foreign passport and return to thailand on the thai passport.
