Pattaya to host World of ICCA 2007

Pattaya City of Chon Buri Province will host the World of International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) 2007 from October 27th to 31st, 2007. The event will promote the good impression of tourism in Pattaya.

Yesterday at Pattaya City Hall, a meeting was held to organize the readiness of the World of ICCA 2007. The International Convention is supporting the economy of the country directly and indirectly. From the statistic record shows that most audience of the meeting have potential in spending for accommodation, food and shopping four times higher than normal tourists.

ICCA is an International Congress and Convention Association which was established in 1963. It represents the main specialists in handling, transporting and accommodating international events and comprises over 800 member companies and organisations in 80 countries worldwide. The head office is Amsterdam The Netherlands.

There were ten members in Thailand had set up ICCA Thailand to organize the International Meeting in order to promote the image of Thailand.

Due to Pattaya City has the ability and readiness to support the International Meeting. ICCA Thailand has offered to organize the 46th ICCA Congress & Exhibition incorporating the ICCA General Assembly 2007 at Pattaya Exhibition Center. In addition, the organizer committee will present The Asian Meetings Industry Leaders Summit and The Asian Meetings Industry Young Professionals Conference 2007 as well. The three meetings will be on the 27th – 31st of October 2007, at Pattaya Chonburi.

Coming from Amsterdam to Pattaya is almost going to feel like being at home.

Nightlife high profile - just the difference in street cleanliness and traffic to make them realise they're abroad.
