Airports Of The Future

Featured Replies

I predict that in the future the airport as we know it will be obsolete.

Instead of flying on planes, we will travel via plumbing. Yes all the major cities in the world will be connected by plumbing pipes. There will be large toilet-like receptacles at the "travel port". If for instance you are going to New York, you just hop into the New York receptacle and the operator will flush you thru the pipes to New York.

everything old is new again ............................

yes, the pipe through the core of earth, not just through the crust. Will be using energy derived from the earth lava - almost a perpetuum mobile.

for any visible future - airplanes flying higher and higher to avoid the atmosphere friction. There are now prototype airplanes being tested flying not 10-11 km above the ground but 90-100 km and at the higher speed. London - Australia will take only 2.5h flight
