What Does This Sign Mean?

I just moved into an apartment rental and saw this in the washroom. Does that mean no tp in the toilet? If so what am I supposed to do with it?

There is a bin next to the toilet for the tp. Assuming you don't have daily maid service, use a plastic bag in your bin, then tie it up and throw it away at the end of the day. A bit inconvenient but better than having to unclog the toilet on a daily basis.

There is not bin in my washroom. Does that mean it's ok to put the tp in the toilet?

LOL! I fee like such a dork for asking this question. :o

I think that most Westerners just ignore this advice. I know that I've ALWAYS thrown TP in the toilet and never had it get clogged up.

I'm sorry, but I am only willing to go so far back into the stone ages to keep the natives happy! :o

It means, "Don't chuck your tampons/sanitary towels down the toilet."

But usually you find these in public toilets not in private apartments. If you have female guests around, they will think you are bossy. Heh heh.

Yup. No bin, no problem. UG, we have a septic tank, if it gets filled up with tp then we have to have the toilet tank truck come and pump it out more often. I don't like people to put TP in my toilet for that reason.

I haven't had to drain or pump out mine in four years since we built it. No toilet paper restrictions. :D

Nothing worse than a rubbish bin of used ass wipe sitting next to the toilet while you are performing your business... :o

Scratching my head about that one! Expecting it to fill up sooner or later.

To be fair, our septic is 18 years old, and really we need a new one dug. Somehow, hubby is not volunteering for the job :D

So we've been to the Moon (perhaps) but the nations crappers can't handle a

bit of toilet tissue ?

Put it in a bin ... What a disgusting practice :o

Crossy's suggestion is ok if your plumbing is really that bad.

Naka.

Toilet paper shouldn't clog the septic tank--unless you are using a really lot of it. It decomposes the same way human waste does. Some things to keep out it, however, are things like plastic, cigarette filters, lint from the washing machine (some fabrics don't decompose) and similar things.

By the way, use the squirter and then dry yourself with the fan, then you can completely avoid tp. Of course make sure the sh*t doesn't hit the fan!
