How To Have 2 User Accounts Sharing The Same Settings

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm running Windows Xp Professional edition.

To improve security I'd like to use 2 accounts: an administrator account when I need to install something, a limited account for everyday use.

But I want those 2 accounts to share the local settings: same My Documents folder, same desktop, same program menu shortcuts, same favorites, same application data and so on.

Any idea how to do that?

Don't tell me nobody ever tried to do that?

the admin acc will be able to access all that's in the user acc ,

due to the security design the user acc CAN NOT access the admin acc .

so put every thing you want along those lines ( bookmarks etc ) into the user acc .

job done .
