True "super-highspeed" Is A Joke!

Featured Replies

Hello.

Thursday morning, when i turned on my computer, i was greeted with the message that TRUE would revert my internet speed to the original as i had been given a "free bonus of 256kb faster" for the past few months, which is true. But i could apply for "super high speed" too. So i decided to do that.

1.5 Mb/512 Kb is what i opted for since it cost the same as my old 512/256. I was promised a callback once application was successful.

No callback, of course - if i get all the calls i was promised by Thai companies, my phone would be busy for weeks. However i received an SMS on Friday (!) almost midnight (!!) that my application was successfull and that it "should work within 24 hours".

Well Saturday morning my internet didn't work AT ALL, no "ADSL" signal. Another half hour on the phone with them i got the usual "we have a technician check it and we will call you back". In the afternoon then it was suddenly working again.... did anyone call me? Guess..?? Of course not. However my speed was still the usual.

NOW, Sunday morning, i suddenly get "super high speed" - to TRUE's server, that is! 1.583 KB/s to be precise. But.... international... according to a whole bunch of speed tests around the world i get LESS THAN HALF OF BEFORE!!!! To San Francisco for example i get 206 down, 120 up! Germany completely useless - 99 down, 20 (!!!) up!!

Now WHO at TRUE do i need to kill to get me some decent internet? As they already informed me that i can NOT revert from "Super High Speed" to something "normal".

Best regards.....

Thanh
