October 30, 200718 yr What's the best video Codec for a Windows mobile 6 device. I'm more concerned with getting the file size down then video quality. 9I dont want it to suck though) It's also important to have the audio line up with the video, have experianced out of sync problmes before. what does media player on a WM6 device support. will an mp4 crap out. Tell me i'm not stuck with .wma and is there somthing more clever than .mpg?
October 30, 200718 yr I use TCPMP ( free ) on my WM2003se device , add in a couple of codec packs <deleted> and AC3 and it seems to play all except for winmedia formats ( they had to drop the support for it). encoding from DVD I use fairusewizard to encode to xvid - if your display is 320x280 ( size when you convert ) you should get a 90 min DVD to 250-300 meg . though to watch movies on my 640x480 axim x50v , even though I have a 4gigcf and 2 gig sd in it , I just stream via wifi and play in TCPMP - use total commander CE as the file explorer , navigate to your shared drive and double tap.
