Khun Bob Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 For anyone that uses DTAC's online eservice to pay their bill, send sms's or see their bill then as part of the seemingly continual updating of recent the english language version will not be available, allegedly, for the rest of this month and maybe more. This may well be a fob off answer from customer service, but the english version has not been available for nearly a week now. Selecting the english version just produces the Thai version. If you know your way around and you hover over the links you can see that the options are and still use the system. The features are still the same it is just the look that has changed. Personally I think this version and the last are sh1t. Why is is that they think you have to have a web site that looks flash - i cant beleive the amount of cpu time a long sms takes up. What on earth is their code doing. Well I know only too well the answers. Best to use IE and disable everything - this way you get the best perfromance sending an sms over 140 chars in lenght. Dont you just love those intro screens aswell - just make the avoid link clearer !
Jiu-Jitsu Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Not having that problem with PAYG. http://sonic2.dtac.co.th:8005/bp3/bin/DpromptIndex?lang=E
Khun Bob Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 This is quite a bummer as if you pay your DTAC bill via the web and use a credit card it is now potentially made quite difficult - if I have to I will look to see if the old version, which I was quite happy with, is still available. Seems that most thai website designers assume you have a 2MB+ connection. What fun I had with a basic GPRS connection for 14 months in Thailand and now a dial up in the UK....
