Its a pretty bazaar and sad commentary on the situation here to think that maybe he could get a small extention if hes that badly hurt. I thiink any other country in the world would give him as much time as he needs to recover based on a doctors recommendation.

Sorry to change the subject but to get back to what days are magical double entry days, is tuesday the only proven day or has anyone gotten a double entry on a wednesday thursday or friday?

The other question I have is once the first TV is used up how much time do you get to travel outside Thailand before using the second visa ?

Getting double-entry TV's in Vientiane is looking like a crap-shoot. I wouldn't go there expecting one.

If you get one, it'll have a 3-month validity period. As long as you arrive on or before the last day of validity you'll get your second 60-day stamp.

Is there any way to get a tourist visa issued on the same day in Vientiane ? any express service ? Paying a higher fee etc........?
