Buying Prescription Medicine

Featured Replies

I'm wondering whether it is possible to buy prescription medicines in bangkok without doctor papers? The medicines I'm looking are Roaccutane, lipitor, clobazam and temazepam.

Regards.

Any medication which is opiod base (including anything with codeine) cannot be bought or prescribed. If unsure before you come, get prescription from your own doctor to show to doctor here (will cost about 100 bht to see Dr). If available they will prescribe, otherwise Thai equivalent if available

Lipitor I'm sure I've seen.

Ro-accutane should only be taken if regular qualified reviews are available, as it can seriously damage the liver.

Clobazam and temazepam are addictive.

Lipitor, yes, no problem OTC, over the counter.  However I switched to Bestation 20 mg a couple years ago, it's a simvastatin, works fine, and is dirt cheap!!

Don't know about the others.
