the above is from one of the more prominent ads that appear on thai visa.

i find it strange that the forum will allow commercial enterprises to advertise like this , but discussions about such subjects on the forums are not allowed.

come on thai visa .... make your mind up.

These spots are not always under the direct control of Thaivisa, they are context ads. Simply report it to admin and he will handle it. Past issues like this have been dealt with and either blocked locally or Google contacted.

tywais , the ad itself doesn't bother me , apart from the fact that it wouldn't return me to thai visa when i closed it , it actually closed down the browser when i clicked it ( the ad) shut.

its the hypocrisy of allowing ads like that ( or allowing higher powers to place such adverts) and then not allowing discussion of the very subjects that the site is promoting by its advertising.

I will happily block that ad, if I knew which ad you are referring to. Can you please take a screen shot of the ad in question and post here?

Thanks!

Guess you didn't read my reply. These are dynamic ads and come and go without necessarily being seen by admin who will take necessary action if appropriate. I will bring it to admin's attention in the mods forum.

//edit - I see George has responded, so topic re-opened.

We are investigating the case. Please allow some time to solve this as it's holidays and people are not immediately available.

Thanks.
