Driving Times!

Featured Replies

Just wanted to brag about the time 4 years ago when i drove from Khon Kaen to NST in 2 and a half days :D:D yes, you might laugh but i was driving a 10 year old Mira :o:D any stories to tell??

I rode a pedal bike from my school to my house once, does that count?

I did a ''non-stop'' run from Frankfurt to London once. Took me two weeks! Just bought a new sporty car, biggest lemon on the planet!

I often used to drive from UK to Rome which I can easily do in 24 hours or take up to a week...including putting on about 4 kilos in weight....what a great way to drive though.........

Get up late drive for about 1 hour or so, find a good restaurant and have lunch, wash it down with 2 litres of the local plonk and then realise you can't drive any more so get a room where you are.....next day....get up late drive for about an hour or so, stop at restaurant...etc etc....

Drove from Boston to Buffalo to Niagra to Toronto to Washington DC, to Orlando, to New Orleans, to Dallas, then the car blew up just outside Las Vegas. Did this over about 10 days

Didn't care too much that it had blown up as I'd only paid $100 for the car. It was a 1980 Mercury Monarch with a 4.2 litre V8 engine and a 3 speed automatic. Wieghed about 2 and half tons and rocked like a boat every time you touched the brakes. No airconditioning so travelling through the south was a bit sticky!

Have also done the Bangkok-Chiang Mai run several times in 7 and a half hours with a couple of breaks on the way.

Snowflake on a pushbike!

:o:D

HAHA funny, really funny... :o

Thats why I sold the bike, since noone gave me a break. It really hurt my feelings that time as it still does today (not joking)

Less than 90mins from NST to Don Sak on a little bike. I'm sure this can be beaten, probably even on a Wave...Any other Don Sak experiences would be interesting to hear about.

Don Sak to Nakhon in 45 minutes on a piece of sh*t 400cc bike that i had a few years ago!! i got taken to the cleaners with that bike :o:D live and learn....

Snowflake, do you care about them?? why do their meaningless comments hurt you?? do what you want to do. Ride to work in a pink suit with yellow shoes!! who cares what other people think :D:D

Tatler, I think you misuderstood something in my post, I HAVE NO FEELINGS.

Well once I did an unconfirmed run from NST to Had Yai and back in 3 hours flat, on a zx12. That bike moved a bit faster than the rest of the bikes here.

Also when VTR was belly upside in Samui I did a run from Sichon to NST in about 25 minutes on the same bike...

But the best part was passing the hospital with VTR in at over 300KPH on the clock... That was a bit over the top...

VTR did Pangna to NST in 2 hours (yes he can drive fast)

I did a night run from Phuket to NST in 2 hours and 45ish minutes, not confirmed but I slowed down twice in my girly car...

The best one still goes to VTR, NST -BKK -NST in less than 24 hours in a saggy old pickup where he still had time to sleep and buy a new motorbike.

C'mon VTR, tell us your times... (not hospital time)
