I'm currently looking to buy a KLX110 for use on my land here in thailand but every year I travel back to Spain to see my family, sometimes spending a few months over there, when I find the right bike for me I'd love to ship it to Spain with me but I'm worried about the import tax, would I have to pay tax if I was sending it for personal use?

thanks for your reply Richard, it makes more sense for me to send my bike rather than buy in Europe for twice the price then? Or would I get charged enough tax to make it up to the price I'd pay in Europe??

Try to buy your bike at a dealer which can offer you a official invoice, and a few thousand undervalue is most of the time no problem. For some bikes we included invoices which are 10 to 15,000 Bht undervalue
