just wanting to know what the options are for doing visa runs (with a tourist visa) without having an outgoing ticket.

I am aware of the Baan Leam crossing being ok with this but are there any other crossing points which dont require an outgoing ticket? i.e Mae Sai, Chieng Khong?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Currently only the Cambodia crossing are strict on the requirement (for visa exempt entry) - but any crossing can ask anyone, anytime if they feel a need to do so. There is no ticket requirement being asked for visa travel.

Note that 30 day entry without a consulate issued visa is called visa exempt entry - it is not a visa entry.

Thanks a lot for the quick response Lopburi3.Anyway, will be heading to Mae Sai for my third(& last) visa exempt stamp (never been there before) & just want to be prepared in case I'm asked to show an outgoing ticket or 20K.

If anyone has done a Mae Sai visa run recently, please let me know how it went.
