PTT to cut fuel prices for second time in 6 days

Deputy Managing Director of PTT Public Company Chaiwat Choorit (ชัยวัฒน์ ชูฤทธิ์) stated that as world oil prices have declined in the past week with crude oil in Dubai priced at 85.01 US dollars per barrel and processed fuel supplies at 2.2 million barrels the company will be reducing its benzene and gasohol prices by 40 satang effective tomorrow (January 22).

Reduced prices will have alternative fuels PTT E20 Plus at 26.89 baht per liter, PTT Gasohol plus 95 at 28.89 baht per liter and PTT Gasohol Plus 91 at 28.09 baht per liter. Standard fuels PTT Alpha X 95 will be reduced to 32.89 baht per liter, PTT Alpha X 91 at 31.59 baht per barrel. Diesel prices will be also be cut with PTT Biodiesel being priced at 28.34 baht and Standard Diesel at 29.34 baht.

Mr. Chaiwat reminded that the reduction will be the second cut in 6 days and underlines PTT’s effort to alleviate the burden from consumers. PTT Public Company has sought to reduce prices in all opportunities.
