Problem With The Water Of The City ?

Featured Replies

What's going on with a town water in Koh Pha Ngan ? Since 3 days we did have a water or just a few hours :o

Just a guess as I haven't heard anything but it sounds like the water is low in the reservoir already and they are rationing water. Best to get a couple of BIG buckets and fill them up with as much water as you can when the water is running. Alternatively, get a stainless tank from the hardware store.

I opened the water tap outside 7-11 Thongsala today, and what poured out wasn't exactly H2O - let's just say that I wouldn't wash my floors with it.

The water reservoirs must be down to their last murky water levels - surprising since we are not really in a savage dry season yet. Maybe the reservoirs are full of sediment and need to be flushed out.

I hope no one is cooking with town water. If you are using this water through a filter, expect it to be clogged in no time.

Our well's water is almost fluorescent green/blue at the moment. Anyone else notice a colour change in their well water lately?

jose '-)

No, our water looks fine Jose. Odd, sounds almost like algae. Maybe you should post in the DIY forum and see if anyone there has some good suggestions.
