In a few months, I'll be heading down to Penang to apply for another multiple entry Non O visa. I'm British, 46 years old.

Was with a friend recently who advised me to get the g/f to write a letter to the Consulate explaining that we'd been together for a year and that I was supporting her with money, a house, food etc. He said this could be very useful. Obviously, letter would be signed and I would have a signed copy of her ID card also.

Anyone done this? If so, how did it work out?

A second posibility is that she comes to Penang with me. In this event, can she go there without a passport and if so, for how long.

Alternatively, we'll get a passport.

I would take her, its very easy to "Make Pass-a-port"

You also need your marraige certificate.

Then your chances of getting a multiple (or even a single) Non-imm O are slim!
