"Can I have a haircut please". I think I must have impressed her because she managed to cut a lump out of my ear!!

I bled so much, that she felt sorry for me and allowed me to take her for a drink.

Four years on and we are married.

Must be the most expensive haircut ever :o

I did nothing! It must have been someone else.I'm a law abiding farang!(She was wearing brown).

I've said this many times since. :o

Oh how I wish I could come up with a witty response, but I have to settle for the truth (this was NOT my opening remark to my partner, this was me lamenting my lack of wit OK?)

So my first (and only) word to her was "perhaps".

But that was after she said (on ICQ mind you): "would you like to have a Thai lady friend?"

We are still together 4 years later.

So perhaps less is more in terms of chatup lines...? :o

Reminds me of the guy who is in an accident with a car driven by a pretty girl (girls fault). They guy is thinking the whole time how he can somehow hook up with the girl, not concerned with his car.
