Hi,

I'm currently preparing for a settlement application for my soon to be wife, and have a question regarding my employment.

I have just managed to get a new job, which I will be starting on the 28th April. My current job, I will finish on the 4th april, and then we'll be off to LOS to get married and apply for settlement.

The question is, should I tell them about my new job, or will it complicate matters, as I won't be able to show payslips from my new employer (I will have evidence of a formal job offer however).

Just to add, the new job pays slightly more but I doubt would make any difference to me being able to support her financially.

Any thoughts/advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Lee,

It should make no difference to your application, just like moving house, changing jobs mid-application is just an administrative item, mention it in your covering letter and show proof of job offer and salary details.

Good Luck
