Hello

Right... I see they have changed the form somewhat so just to be sure if anyone can give me their opinion on these questions, I'd appreciate it.

Part 4 - Your Family

4.1 Give full name of your souse/ partner.

OK, my GF is still maried but separated. I am her new partner nad have been for a couple of years now.

To answer this question, should my details be entered or should her husband be listed?

Part 6.10 - Finances & Employment

6.10.3 What is the name of the company you work for?

She is employed by her father...a farmer. No company name as such and no wage slips or anything. On previous visa's I've just stated that she works for her father and all salary is cash in hand... I am presuming this is going to be fine still?

Part 9 - Declaration.

Have you used an agent/ or representative to complete this application?

I have filled this in with my girlfriend. Should I enter my details here or just say no (are they referring to professional bodies who couldhave helped?)?

Many thanks

Give full name of your souse/ partner.

Is that a freudian slip? :o

Anyway, if you perceive yourself to be the partner now, and after all, your girlfriend doesn't live with her husband, then enter your name. The embassy should be otherwise aware from the previous applications that your girlfriend is separated and in a relationship with you.

There is no real right or wrong way to fill in the forms, as long as all information is somehow conveyed to the visa officer. For example, in relation to my clients, if they are not in formal/contractual employment, I give them as being unemployed and then explain further on that s/he works on the family farm for which s/he is paid pocket money etc., but if you wish to enter your girlfriend's help on the family farm as employment, then, likewise, it is not wrong. In relation to the "have you used an agent" question, tick no. This is only for when the form has been completed by an immigration adviser/solictor etc.

Scouse.

Hi

Final question on this (I hope!)

As a sponsor, I should provide proof of my residential status in the UK... I own my property so must I send a copy of the title deeds (bank are going to charge me £35 for a copy) or will a letter from them (free of charge!) confirming address and that I hold a mortgage with them suffice?

Cheers
