balo,

To enjoy that horrible sticky sweet stuff, you must be a bit let us say "weird". Having said that, and with no promises of accuracy, I would try the Scandinavian church in BKK, or the Norwegian Seaman's church in Pattaya. These places usually tend to stock special items (like the geitost and Swedish snuff), to act as a magnet for people to come visit, since these days, most people do not come for the religious stuff...

Otherwise, how much of the cheese can you possibly eat during 2 months? So just drag a few kilos with you from norskyland, and presto, problem solved!

Good luck in the "Hunt for the brown cheese"!

Hmmm, that sounds like it could be made into a good novel or action film. On second thoughts, probably not...

A friend used to bring that stuff with him on his infrequent visits, he loved it but I thought it stunk. :o

Yes you probably right , I have to visit the church to get it :o

In Europe you can buy it in the bigger food stores.

Maybe I can start a business importing it to Thailand?

We eat brown cheese every day over here so thats the only thing I miss in Thailand.

And you should really try it on a sandwich one day. Maybe you get used to it :D
