Water Pump Repair.

Featured Replies

I have been away and not used my water pump for 6 months.

It is not working now when switched on. The power is ok and the pump wheel is free. but the pump makes no sound and does not work.

Anyone know of a reputable repair man. Should be a simple job as there was no trouble before.

Thanks .4.real

What kind of pump is it?

what is the make?

Has the power been on while you were gone for 6 months & the pump on as well?

Does the pump motor smell burnt?

Is your connection tight from the pump to your power source?

It sounds like with the limited info Either the power is not making it to the pump itself or it has been on & burned out the motor not having a prime. Is it a house pump or an irrigation style pump?

You will get some great help on this post if you include some info! Once you get it fired up your probably going to need to prime it as well.
