Pattaya City councillor ‘paves’ the way for safer roads
I was in Pattaya the other week by the market near Central, two thai men (i presume) were repairing the path, small blocks and all that. Their entire repair kit consisted of a half dozen blocks and a bag of sand. One can only assume that either they do this as they can come and repair it again next week after another rain storm, their boss is onto a great scam or they are totally braindead ! -

Traffic Direction Change at CNX? Seems aircraft are now taking off on Runway 18. Why?
I asked the same question to CNX air traffic control yesterday. I got a very curt reply, the gist of which was... You live next to an airport. Deal with it. My question was why do some planes taking off to the north begin thier turn SHARP right as soon as wheels are up.... Then they end up flying right down the Ping... I live in Wat Ket. They are loud. Half the flights do indeed... Fly straight north past the Mae Rim golf course then a slow right turn south.... Then they pass over Central Festival but at a higher altitude TIT. FK everyone else, we don't care -
