Transport Direct Thailand-US Flights Poised for Takeoff After 2015 Halt
My friend flew one of the Thai airways non stop flights from Los Angeles back when it was available. 17 hours non stop on a plane is just too much. I have no problem making a stop in Taiwan and most of my trips to Thailand were on EVA, once or twice on China Air and they were from LAX ~12 hours of actual air time, 2 or 3 hour layover in Taiwan, then ~< 3 hours on to BKK. I am OK with a break in between. A few extra hours for the trip is preferable to 17 hours straight on a non-stop -

Health Covid Cases Surge: Chula Expert Sounds Alarm on Rapid Spike
Thailand Reports 6 New Covid-19 Deaths Amid Rising Case Counts File photo for reference only The Department of Disease Control (DDC) released its latest Covid-19 update on Wednesday, June 11, revealing that the total number of fatalities this year has reached 130 following six new deaths. This update highlights the ongoing prevalence of the virus, with Bangkok continuing to record the highest daily case numbers. On Wednesday alone, the country saw an influx of 7,527 new Covid-19 cases, comprising 7,164 outpatients and 363 individuals requiring hospitalisation. This surge brings the total confirmed Covid-19 cases for the year to 439,527 since January 1, 2025. The five provinces registering the highest number of new cases include: Bangkok: 447 cases Nakhon Ratchasima: 408 cases Suphanburi: 369 cases Chonburi: 351 cases Khon Kaen: 283 cases In light of these statistics, the DDC has urged the public to remain vigilant, particularly those belonging to high-risk groups, which include young children, seniors aged 60 and above, individuals with one of seven chronic illnesses, and pregnant women beyond 12 weeks’ gestation. These groups are advised to monitor their health closely, especially in regions experiencing high infection rates. For those experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or a runny nose, the DDC recommends wearing a mask, self-isolating, and promptly seeking medical attention to prevent further spread and complications. As the situation evolves, public health authorities continue to encourage adherence to safety measures and protocols to mitigate the impact of Covid-19, especially in areas with high transmission rates. Eye drops for dry eye
Go see an eye doctor and see what's going on. I had eye surgery a year ago and had the problem for a while. What I found out is that there are different kinds of dry eyes. Some eye drops work better than others, depending. Once you figure out what you need, it's easy enough to buy the stuff OTC. -

A New Era for the Homeless: Rayner Pledges End to Criminalising Rough Sleeping
Yes, but I think there are many more reasons. I remember one homeless person when asked why he was homeless said that you're only one bad divorce away from sleeping rough. Alcoholism, drugs and mental dsorders clearly play a big part.
