How To Block A Number

Featured Replies

if i want to block someone from calling me with 1-2-call, on a nokia n72, how can i do that?

Blocking per se isn't available here, however, one option is to set the individual's number to silent. There was some add on software for Symbian phones which had a 'blacklist' function.

Possible with the built in software on some phones, my loan/spare has this feature - a Nokia 1200 I believe.

My simple Nokia does not have this feature but my missus' SamsungD600 does have a feature where you can block numbers for calls and messages and I know that some other phones have this feature. Some people use it when going roaming to avoid excess charges. It does not just let it ring silently so it must do something with the network as I tried it with a 1-2-call Sim in Singapore.

I just created a "blank" ringtone and uploaded that to my telephone, then I add those I want to block to my phonebook and have them use the blank ringtone, end of problem...

It's usually drunk male Thai's who keep calling even though it's clear they got wrong number, go figure :o

Yeah, that will work (as long as they don't surpress the number of course)

Last time someone called me for hours and hours, told her wrong number, my friend told her in Thai, but she kept insisting, even during the night, After a while she apparently just gave up.
