Just tp update that OH applicatiojn for indefinite leave was succesfful and they only took just over four weeks to process it - despite the Border Agency saying they are only working on Novembers application.

As some of you may remember we had a problem with dates and I was worried they may refuse it on that technicality (hubby's visa ran out just as he would qualify for stay) however I added a letter explaining we were aware of that and had been advised do go ahead an apply from the information line and ensure the application was posted the day his visa expired so arrived when he was eligible and no earlier - as we had been tempted too!

We also only had 4 documents in joint names which I supllemented with online utilit bill print offs which were joint, holiday confirmations which were joint and we also had 8 documents each over the last two years. All in all there was 26 documents and I explained in the covering letter that we bank seperately and have gas and electricity online but they were joint (and provided that proof).

Really pleased they dealt with it so quickly as it saved weeks of worry!!!

I think the covering letter was helpful - but I could be wrong!
