hi to everyone!

Thanks for the response to my last question..and congrats to everyone who has secured a visa for their partners...

Just wanted to know if i have to complete 2 x settlement applications, one for my wife and one for my step daughter, my step daughter is 6 and is on the same passport as her mum., and they will be travelling to England together after being granted the visa(hopefully!)

There is a section on my wifes settlement visa application for children who will be travelling with her and thats completed with all of my step daughters info, but i'm not 100% sure if I have to complete another VA4 form, i'm kinda guessing that I do because in effect i'm applying for 2 x visas.

Can someone clarify for me?? Thanks in advance

In the guidance notes for the VAF4 application it states in section 4:

4.10 Please list any of your children who will be travelling with you to the UK.

Please note that any children travelling with you may also need a visa. If they need a visa, they will have to fill in their own application form.

I would say that if the child does not have UK citizenship they will need a visa and will therefore require a completed VAF4 application form of their own. Good luck with the applications.
