April 14, 200817 yr My GF and I plan to apply for a UK Fiance Visa in May. I used to live and work in Thailand until the end of 2006. We have know each other since 2003 and have been together since 2005. We have travelled a few times together (including Italy to visit my father) and I have visited twice in the last year. We didn't live together in Thailand but still have tickets/photos etc. from our travels. We have written to each other on a weekly basis since my return to the UK in Jan '06. Unfortunately both of us had pay-as-you-go mobiles up until the last couple of months. i.e. we have phone records only for the last couple of months. Will this be a problem bearing in mind we have other evidence going back some time? Also, my income is around £16000 a year; is this considered enough? She speaks fluent English so wil this work in our favour? The main purpose of these question is do we need to spend a few months building up more evidence or have we got enough? Thanks.
April 14, 200817 yr There is no requirement to have telephone bills, rather evidence of some sort which shows you to have been in a relationship as claimed. Consequently, the letters are good evidence and supply any other documents which you have which also demonstrate the duration of your time together. Scouse.
