I have managed to find my wife a job offer from my local chinese restuaraunt. I will be applying for the visa in July when I go to see the wife in Bangkok but I am wanting to know what sort of content needs to be in the letter? Who will we need to write the letter to? eg. to whom it may concern? Also, when will it need to be dated?

The letter should state that a job is there for your wife, the nature of the position, the hours and the salary and may be addressed to "to whom it may concern". I'd advise not to have the letter written until nearer the time, and providing the offer is still there, as an old letter is likely to be discredited by the embassy.
