April 15, 200817 yr Right... I've downloaded the VAF-1 form and when I eventually get round to it, i'll go about filling it in word or acrobat, (if I can work out how to ) Obviously I want to do this because of the length of the document, 21 pages, and the option to re-write/amend it. Is there anything in the application guidance notes/rules saying that it has to be handwritten? (apart from the signature?) I want to make sure it 's admissable. Many thanks RAZZ
April 15, 200817 yr I don't see anything on the forms that say they must be handwritten, just done in blue or black ink. You may actually be making more work for youself though and take longer to do it with all the lining up. Most of the forms don't require a huge amount of writing. Unless you have terrible handwriting, I'd just fill it in by hand.

April 16, 200817 yr There are various pieces of software available which enable you to make a .pdf fillable, although with most you have to initially create a template before actually filling in and printing your form. I write VAFs on a computer, but as I do many such forms, it actually saves me time. As you'll be doing a one-off, it might be easier to fill it in by hand and save the messing around. Scouse.

FYI, when printing I sometimes need to click "grayscale" to get things dark enough to read easily. Super handy program!! Thanks Wanda, of the BKK Post, Database Section. Mac
