I am new to Thaivisa and have met a lady through an introductions web-site that I would like to visit me in USA.

I know nothing of the regulations and would be very grateful if someone could advise me what I need to do to help her complete the necessary application to get a visa, ideally without me having to travel to Thailand, as I have three elderly grand-parents to take care of.

tell her to go to the us embassy and fill in the necessary form...if she is of sufficient socio-economic status...no problemo

In reality it is going to be nearly impossible for her to travel to the US to visit you unless she has been there before.

She would need to be quite rich, have a home, a business, family social standing in the community.

She will have to prove why she will return to Thailand and that is usually not easy for single Thai women.

Have some old khmer rouge hold her in captivity then release her, so she can claim refugee status, then you might have a 1% chance of getting her to the US. Sorry, but that's the reality, it's really that difficult when you're not married.
