1 In Ten With Hiv

I was in a meeting yesterday when the contactor I was dealing with told us that 1 in 10 of the Thai construction workers that he was trying to get employed for a job in the middle east had been diagnosed as being positive with HIV.

They had to have medicals as part of the requirements for visa's W/P's etc.

It was not only a shock to him, he was also the one that had to hand them a letter telling them they had been refused permission due to this.

Scary stuff when you think about it. The labor camps most be a hive for HIV!!
