Even now everything is in place already and being kept in several databases.

I just recieved my Belgian passport with Chip card on it which will contain all my medical, social and police data in the future. What's the difference then with a chip in your arm ??? :o

They also have a common database for all companies now, every bank can see not only your debts but all of your request from the last year. Governement can see your tax and vat returns and immediatly check on the other side.

The only privacy you still have is because the data is so massive that you can still slip by because a human interprets it.

Once super networks and computers can handle the data itself , your privacy will be over.

As an It consultant i help in this myself by making systems.

As all things can be used for good or bad this is also to be decided on by the users.......

I just think that by imbedding, inserting, branding, whatever method, some sort of tracking chip or other device in the human body is crossing the line. We are human beings, not machines. It's going too far past the natural order of mother nature. You are looking at in a practical perspective; I am looking at it as a violation of humanness and nature. Up to you.

Remember the movie "Soilent Green" with Charlton Heston?

Boon Mee, it's been awhile, but I do. Maybe I am overreacting, but I just feel that people are too far away from simplicity in life and getting so wrapped up in technology and science that their minds and bodies are slowly being taken over by something that I can't quite grasp. It's as if people don't care about what happens to other people.

Take this catastrophe as an example. Decades before this earthquake occurred, the people of Aech in Sumatra began fighting a bitter insurgency against the Indonesian government to manage their own natural resources. In other words they are tired of living detitute, poverty stricken lives while at the same time the Indonesian government with the help of Exxon Mobile and the Central Intelligence Agency fill the coffers for Jakarta, Exxon and Washington, Japan and Korea. I know I am off topic, but it is all a long chain that is inter related. You are no fool, and should not be fooled into thinking this is about religion. Why must people be kept in poverty when they live on resource, mineral rich land. Why do powerful countries who have the means to extract these resources encourage local governments to kill, maim, imprison, silence, torture and starve the local people? I could name off just a few countries, Indonesia, Iraq, Afganistan, Nigeria, Burma, Angola, South Africa as examples. Why is it so difficult to pay a decent wage for a mine worker so he can give his family enough to survive and be educated?

What it comes down to is control. If the minds of America and Europe are controlled and the bodies of Asia, Africa and South America are controlled, then all is lost.

Unfortunately what you are saying is true of people. There have been many experiments over the years, one which may be better heard of was The Milgram Experiment.

It was a study on 'The Human Obedience To Authority', and the findings were disturbing.

Volunteers were invited to take part in experiments that involved giving electric shocks to other people, who answered questions incorrectly. 65% of the volunteers worked up to the full lethal voltage because the scientists said that they would accept full responsibility of any deaths. Some of the volunteers laughed hysterically as they dished out the electric shocks.

Of course the 'victims' were just actors and never recieved any shocks. But it goes to show what people are capable of when they dissociate themselves of responsibility of their actions.

Interstingly 85% of German volunteers dished out the lethal dose. :o

Birth was the death of us.

The last picture of GWB I saw in the newspaper was of him raising his right hand

in the sign of Satan; two middle fingers and thumb down with pinky and index finger up. It was claimed that it is the symbol of the Texas Longhorns, a school in Texas. It evidently freaked the <deleted> out of some Scandinavians who saw it in their local papers. Old George W. Bush; what a joker! :o

Didn't see that photo but having worked with quite a few alumni of UT (Univ. of Texas) and experiencing their habit of thrusting out their arms with that salute - it does make you wonder... :o

How was/is your trip going Boon? Get down to Phuket if you get the chance as the beers are on you. :o

Didn't get the chance to pop down to Phuket on this last visit. Ran out of time with family/friends and plans for the new house.

You'll have to wait 'till next time Gent, to get that beer! :o

This mark of satan thing has been running for years, I heard abut it first in the old Mike Leigh film NAKED.

I think it's called mark of the beast because it's a barcode and a barcode is seperated by three main bars, all represented by the number 6, so 666 it is.

They have already experimented this on US soldiers I believe.
