hi there...

I'm Thai but i'm currently a student in the UK. Now i plan to go to Spain on the end of June but i cant get visa appoinment in time. I have actualy booked all the plan ticket and hotels already. i was wondering would it be possible if i apply for the spanish visa in Thailand instead ? or any other ideas of what i should do?

and if i apply the visa for other schengen country , is it necessary to go into that country first ? can i just go into spain without passing to the country i apply the visa for ?

please somebody ,,,,give me some advice of what i should do ....i'm reallllllllllllllllly stressful now ....

any help would be extremely appriciated

If you're in Thailand, then you may also apply for a Schengen visa from there.

1. Did you ask for assistance with the travel agent you booked your ticket and hotel with ? There are also special Visa Agents in London who can do all the work for you. Just Google.

2. You can apply with another Embassy like Belgium, Germany etc.; Holland is difficult, but you have probably to show your travel plan as well but no absolute need to travel first to that country.

3. You want to apply for a visa in Thailand at the Spanish Embassy ? ...since you are now in the UK...right ?

hi, looking at thier websites, you could be prob going on an education visa (you student) or short holiday visa,???

it may 3rd now so thats nearly 2 months and you cant get one?

maybe go to the travel agents who booked your holiday as put them undersome obligation to try sort it out /help!

thank you all so much for advice. However, i did try one agency...multi travel ...but they said it's too late for them too . They said they can sent my pplication on the 12th June that the quickest they can do , but it normally takes up to 2 weeks until the embassy issues visa and that would be after 24th June. Besides, i booked the plane ticket and hotel myself , not through travel agencies, and i'll be staying with my spanish boyfriend there for one month.

i'll go to talk to the consulate personally, see how they can help..

i READ SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THIS FORUM ABOUT A SIMILIAR SITUATION AND IT WAS SUGGESTED GOING TO THE DANISH EMBASSY IN HULL TO GET YOUR SPANISH VISA , IT COSTS ABOUT 5 POUNDS AND YOU DONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE COUNTRY THAT ISSUES IT. - LOOK THROUGH THE FORUM FOR CLARIFICATION.
