Hello, i am planning to do a nice tattoo in BKK and i need a good address for that stuff.

Is anyone has got a good idea?

i heard about EAK TATTOO www.eaktattoo.com in Khao san Road. Is it worth the deal ?

in a word.....NO!

My friend went there.... unaware he can speak Thai, they bumped their prices up despite the actual artist quoting a third the price they stated! 'farang pricing'....

The quality of the work was not good. They offer a 'guarentee' but when my friend returned to claim on this, as the colour faded very badly within 3 weeks.... the 'guarentee' was not honoured with no explanation.

There are many threads on here about tattoos.......many recommend Jimmy Wong..... i too second this, he's not cheap but the quality is fantastic...... i am very happy with both my tats.

Good luck!

I used diamond tattoo at Seacom Square for two large pieces. Nuu only does original work and speaks little English so a translator is worth the while. Amazing free hand work, he has won many awards. Do a search on this site and you can see my stuff

Get a cab to Seacon Square Mall and go to the second floor (first floor if you are English). There is a seperate part of the Mall called Trendy (I think). The entrance is near Tesco's. It is full of clothes stalls (not copy tee shirts type but for Thai Girls). There are two tattooists so look for the one with all the trophies. His website is www.tattoodiamond.com tattoodiamond dot com. My three quarter sleeve is on page two of the gallery.

Thank u very much for the advice.
