I saw Air Asia just announced they have started to operate flights from Kuala Lumpur to Gold Coast Airport (OOL). Apparently this is near Brisbane, but the Air Asia staff could not tell me how near it was.

Has anyone tried this service yet. What are the prices, service and connections like?

It's about 100km from Brisbane.
