Farfetched Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Can any one tell me if Cholestorol Free Egg substitutes are available in Thailand. In Amweica the brand name is Eggbeaters. Is there anything like this here. Thanks for your help.
Galong Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Dietary intake of cholesterol does not necessarily raise serum cholesterol levels. Your body makes cholesterol, so you can have high cholesterol levels with little or no dietary cholesterol intake. Do you exercise? Are you under a lot of stress? Not working out can cause all sorts of medical problems. Personally, I would not eliminate eggs from my diet. I would read more about cholesterol and how the body makes it and things you can do to naturally lower your levels without eliminating eggs, which are one of the best sources of protein available.

Thanks Galong, All advice is greatly appreciated. These Egg substitutes are actually 100% egg, with eout the Yoke which contains the Cholesteral but still carries all the benefits of the high protien content. I Love My Eggs and my Omelettes. I do exercise and aside from an abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, which will be dealt with soon, I am in relatively good health. I moved to Thailand and left all the Stress in America. Only problem with these substitutes is making them look right when you want them sunny side up.

The yolk is a major source of nutrients including protein. It really gets a bad rap because of the overall fear of cholesterol that is slowly but surely being debunked by research. Here's a breakdown of an egg's nutrient content. REAL FOOD always trumps something man made. Egg Nutrients
