Does thailand have a equivelant paper to an oz stat dec? and if so who would

be authorized in the signing of it?

cheers

Translation agency gave me a Statutory Declaration Form (the sample must be downloadable from Oz Embassy site) in which I declared that I am free to marry, quoted 2 Oz citizens names and addresses and stamped it at Oz Embassy in BKK.

They translated it, certified at MFA and it was accepted at marriage office.

Yes they do.....any Amphur office will have them...Phor Khor 14 I think is the paper you need

Basically the same type of people as can sign in Oz...but again there would be someone in the Amphur office who can sign.

The Amphur office is the district administration office. Similar to births deaths marriages offices in Oz.
