Just giving all who might need documentation processing: Visa Renewal Non-Immigrant

Beware of the Skinny woman with beaddy eyes and a hawk nose.

Her English is passable and she has enough knowledge to know when she is on a power trip. SIT the F Down..

I have been processing my documents there for the past three years, and school has a liason person to intercept all this demonstration of... I will mess with you ....because ... I can attitude. However, this time, I had to go there myself and process it. I was rip roy, spoke in Thai with a respectful tone and proper greeting... then she noticed that I was without the usual school official. Then began here " Let's mess with you business" I was the only person in the office, this processing takes at most 20 minutes, all documents have been prepared, confirmed, and signed.. YET, the Eagled eye..official ... went into the full blown.. I'm super busy, pump stamping as if she could pound somtaan. After an hour of this.. and resigning papers for no other reason because she wanted it... because I was not exactly a few mm from my photo. she says. OK GET UP.. I gave you another year, but you need a new passport because your book has no more pages for visa processing. When I explain to her the the Passport is good untill 2015, and I only need to get additional pages, she walks away in a huff and says she will not sign next year..

Well, maybe a bad day for her.. a previous Farang gave her a bad time, or the usual lowly official wants some recognition of power...but my favorite.. Ka tode...pom sia jai Khon my rip roy..Poh sia jai fan kong yu mee ah noi..5555

In every country I had to deal with the authorities of, there were one "black sheep" that I remember of.

Why should Thaïland be different, it is a nice country, with nice people but nobody's perfect !

For me, it was in HatYai's Revenue Office, from the time I was directed to a new woman-clerk nothing was possible.

I could not get any of the certificates I've been getting for 5 years ...

At least arguing with that person was funny because her arguments were absolutely stupid !

I have lived here in NST for seven years now and I have NEVER heard about rudeness from the Immigration office... They are always very VERY helpful and curtious...

She talks and jokes with us all the time... I go down there by myself and have a blast... Last time she complained I did not sell my car to her, to which I replied that she would not pay the money... Then she laughed it away and asked if the next time I sell my car, can I tell her first and she will buy it...

They are a joy and very friendly bunch down there...

PS... Have you ever tried to bring her a bottle of red wine? (she likes it) or some chocolate... Red label for the boss... This will cost you about 1000B but my god it will do wonders every time you get there from now on...

I have been going there for the past 5 years and never had any problems with any of the staff !! I have always been treated well but i can say that i have seen a few other people been treated the way you have mentioned !!

I don't know why that happened BUT there must be some sort of reason??

Started work the same day as snowflake seven years ago. Have to agree with him, they have always been very helpful, even when they did not have to be. We always have a friendly chat. I have always thought myself lucky to be dealing with the Nakhon office.

Well, that is about what I thought.. usually, I have never had a problem...But it must have been my lucky day.

I used to go to the old office as well, never a problem.
