Last time I looked, the limit for leaving Thailand was 50,000 baht (in Thai currency). No limits specified for other currencies.

Not sure about limits leaving the UK, but I'm pretty sure if someone notices you trying to leave with large sums of cash in hand, they will get suspicious.

Why anyone would want to take out lots of Baht is beyond me. You'd get an appalling rate trying to convert it in the west. The only time it might be worth doing is if you were heading somewhere where baht might be useful, like Laos or Cambodia.

Convert it to dollars, euro or pounds here.

On entering or leaving the UK from any non EU country you can carry as much cash as you like, but if it is over 10,000 euros, or equivalent, then you need to fill out form C9011, and hand it in at customs. Cash also means travellers cheques and bankers drafts. You can get this form by downloading it from www.hmrc.gov.uk., as can further information. Good luck.
