I have just been talking to my Thai wife about this post and she told me a gem that I just have to share with you all.

Apparently many Thai ladies dont have any experience with computers, (obviously).

There are other people that run a business of applying and replying to internet sites for these unfortunate ones with the proviso that they get 10% of the sin-sot. Which apparently can be quite lucrative as whether you want to believe this or not.....some ferang that come over here get taken for 2..3..4 million sin-sot, because they dont know any better and are love struck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dowery? I paid 2 chickens and a goat for mine but she can read and write... all be it some ludicrous mountain hill tribe dialect. For the illiterate farm girls, I'm sure just 2 chickens and a sack of jackfruit will do fine.
