ttelise
I am looking to teach at a University in Bangkok. I have doctorate degree. I, however, am still married is USA. We are separated and I wanted to spend the next year in Thailand teaching college. Will my marital status effect my ability to obtain work permit or Visa? Thank you for your input. ttelise
No. Haha. My post is poorly worded due to the heading. No, it will not effect me or no it will not be okay to obtain the Visa or work permit. Sorry to ask for the clarification. Thank you for your time. Crossy
Your marital status will have zero effect upon your ability to get a visa and work permit
chakatee
Strange question even, would all expats here be divorced men? The Kingdom of Thailand only permits foreigners to work here if they are divorced, this to increase the chances of the local women to find a farang with work :-)
