Visa Needed For Thai To Visit India

Featured Replies

Do Thai nationals need a visa to visit India? Anyone with experience with this?

Note:I looked through 15 pages of topics and didn't find India anywhere.

Thai national require a visa to visit to India. They apply at the India Embassy located at 46 Prasarnmitr Sukhumvit Soi 23. Processing time for Thai nationals and foreigners that have resided in Thailand for more than 3 years with work-permit / residence permit, is the next day. Other foreigners can take up to 5 days.

Wanted to bump this thread back up....is there anyone with experience in getting a Thai tourist visa for India.

I will be going to India in Feb (I am US). Want to bring my Thai gf with me. How difficult will it be for a single Thai lady to get Indian visa? SHe is 30 yrs old, has a job, bank account, etc. Not a "working girl". Will she be able to just apply herself and most likely get the visa? Or should I plan to provide typical documents on our relationship, etc. I assume its easier than Aussie/Europe/US?

Thanks to anyone who can provide any insight....

My wife applied through an agency (200bht)and got the Indian visa the next day. No supporting docs were needed. Shouldn't be a problem for her. Good luck

Ok, thanks for the info.

Yes, i did find one other thread after searching that said the same thing. Basically not to difficult for Thai to get an Indian visitor visa. Hope i will be going there with teelak in February!!
