I have long noticed in restaurants around the world that when ordering entrees or pieces of food to share that one almost always receives an indivisible number of items to share. ie for 2 people one gets 3 of everything or if 3 people 2 or 4 of everything.......etc etc Can someone (ie the experts here) enlighten me as to why this is done?

Are Restauranteurs mathematically challenged? Like making life just a little competitive for customers? Dont give a dam_n?

or perhaps Im just bored tonight?

What's yer problem, are you unable to count.

Entrees are usually presented at a price.

Learn to count, ask for suitable number pay the extra..

Am I dum, answering a dum question?

A very simple way to deal with this is.

1 Get a menu from every restuarant you are ever likely to visit

2 get a pen

3 Phone all the restuarants and find out how many pieces come with each entree

4 write down the number

5 decide who you are going to go to dinner with

6 send them all the menus and ask them to choose which dishes they would like

7 by a process of elimination work out which restuarant you can go to without having the entree problem

8 if no restaurants work out change the number of people by adding more guests or uninviting guests until you have a satisfactory number to suit.

Simple if you think about it!!!!!!!!!
