I am trying to find an inflatable playhouse for my 2 yo daughter. I have looked around and cannot seem to find one. Does anyone have any suggestions as all of the online places I come across will not ship to Thailand? I am resorting to having my brother in the USA buy me one and ship it here if this is the only possibility.

I am looking for a size that is probably 10 ft x 10 ft (or bigger) where it is possibly to jump around in and maybe even having a slide.

It is well worth looking at one of CM's very rare 2nd hand shops for children's items.

From the roundabout at the old sports stadium, Sanamgeelar, take the short route towards Chotana Rd.

As soon as you have joined the one-way section, keep right and turn right in less than 50m into the semi-underground car park of a modern block. On the 1st floor at the front you will see the shop, usually with large, brightly coloured ride-on things out front.

The Thai lady here pays good prices and charges reasonably. Minimal English, though.

And if you'd also like a large natural, hand-made, teak playpen with upholstery base, almost unused, PM me!

I am a ESL kindergarten teacher in Chiang Rai. In the ten months I've been in Thailand, I have had great difficulty in finding the toys and children's items we are accustomed to finding easily. The ironic thing is that many of the items I finally get are made in China, shipped to the US by Walmart or Dollar General, purchased by my family in North Carolina and shipped back to me in Chiang Rai. If you think CMai is limited, CRai is impossible. I come to CMai every other weekend and buy the supplies I want for my classroom and, no, the school does not reimburse me. I discovered after trying to do with very little or do without, I was unhappy with my efforts and so, if I have to buy what I need to do my job to my standards, then so be it.

I have also looked for outside inflatables.....pools, water slides, etc. with no luck. While in Phuket, I did see huge inflatable water slides for rent but nothing in this end of Thailand. I downloaded pictures of small stoves, sink units, frig, etc. to make a child sized kitchen in wood but have had no luck in getting anyone to make them for me. It can be discouraging.....And I am sick of plastic.

Please do let me know what you find and where........Inflatables are very heavy and postage is high. My savings is gone as of July because of supplimenting my salary for things for the children.....
