July 29, 200817 yr I like to praise (and encourage custom to) local restaurants that serve delicious, honest, authentic food at a good price, especially when they seem to be hurting for business, so if you don't know it, I suggest you check out Aung Kam restaurant on 3rd road (not too far down from North Pattaya Road). They have all the Chiang Mai specialties you are familiar with, plus some you might not be, and as a frequent visitor to CM, I can recommend the food as delicious and authentic. Plus a good price in a lovely setting really what else could you ask for? Open for lunch and dinner. The prices cited in the link are out of date but you won't have sticker shock there either. BTW, they also have a Japanese restaurant on the second floor. I think they make their own handmade noodles (yum), though I can't speak for the Japanese part. http://www.pattayapeople.com/default.asp?F...IdArticle=10619 Aung Kam located on 3/137 Third Road in North Pattaya, next to the Golf Driving Range Any other choices for Chiang Mai food in Pattaya? Not talking about kao soi stalls, actual restaurants?
