Trump Faces Backlash After Falsely Implying Taylor Swift's Endorsement
Omar Khayyam might have said, "The lying liar lied, and have lied, lied on." Nothing new in this story... -

What do security guards actually do in Thailand?
I would guess the nearest security guard to us would be a three hour round trip. Robinson's in Chaiyaphum. -

Thaksin Open to Coalition with Democrats Amidst Internal Rifts
You sleep with dogs and you're going to get fleas, tbh that could be said of all party's concerned as none of them are clean! Thailand yet again showing morales, scruples or honestly are not wanted or required in their ruling classes, shameful but unfortunately nothing new.... -

What Thai dishes are the lowest calories?
If you're at your desired weight, why worry about complex carbs now? Eating in moderation almost anything is okay. I eat oatmeal every day, and always have eaten Millet Rice, Oat Bran Flakes and a few others which aren't too high and still keep my weight down, even though I'm not working out nearly as much yet. Bamboo is low as is many salad greens. My girlfriend has constipation a lot because of the rice so I try and get her to not only drink more water but eat greens, although she's not really (yet) into foreign food. Here's an Asean link...........https://aseannow.com/topic/1052810-yogurts-sugar-free/. -

Foreign cyclist severely injured after being hit by Phuket Airport taxi
You could try both Rama IX Park where the oval is located for a few quick laps. You can't cycle elsewhere in the park that much. Even better is Nong Bon which is right next door to Rama IX Park. It has a 4km path that is shared with other cyclists, runners, and walkers. A lot of shade so is nicer than Skylane. -

Oh and what exactly is wrong with that ? Should perhaps we stop taking about YouTubers as well ? Jealousy perhaps my dear Watson? One can't enjoy a succelent Chinese meal around you for fear of jealousy?.- 1

Using an overseas Debit Card to minimise paying tax for those of us staying over 180 days
I agree with you, but when there's money to be made out of foreigners, all political parties here seem to like heading in the same direction, no u-turns. This is an easy earner for them from the small fry, and they can also pay more attention to high net worth individuals to tax some serious money out of them. -

A Nation in Crisis: The Erosion of Respect for Law and Order in the UK
The Police in the UK lost their way decades ago. We have seen a succession of appalling scandals, a drop in the numbers of Police seen on the street, an emerging failure to tackle domestic burglaries and car crime and a preoccupation with matters 'woke'. The recent widespread was a severe shock and a real wake up call to the UK but the Police, Courts and Starmer himself seem to have made a decent job of quelling this 'uprising'. The UK has indeed been through a major crisis. However, all is not lost even though no-one seems to know just how to resolve the issue of excessive Immigration. IMO it's important we don't lose sight of the fact that vast swathes of the UK function well enough and the Community is still largely made up of well intentioned Folks living good lives. So 'nil desperandum' is my motto - moaning that successive Govts have laid the ground for these problems is pointless. However, it ain't gonna get better anytime soon and Brits do undoubtedly have to adjust adjust expectations to reality - taxes will inevitably continue to rise and spending cuts wll be made - historic Govt overspending has reached £40K per head and as in many Nations - this is not sustainable indefinitely. But all is not lost as many seem to suggest though the path back to reality will be long and painful. Law and Order came under serious attack during the recent riots and these events have been a shock. Let's hope the present 'pause' lasts. -

Interesting reading about Thailand and Thai people
What's astonish me is that this dissertation was written by a Thai and not a foreigner. What made this Thai student write such a paper about his own people?
