Clouds

Featured Replies

My dad recently passed away & part of my inheritance is his photo collection. He was an avid photog for years & in recent years took to photographing the views from his mountainside in Spain. He got interested in the clouds as many of them made "spaceship" shapes. So have a look, I will post more as & when I get through them but with over 3k images downloaded from only one of the memory sticks he left, I have a lot to go through :o

I hope you enjoy them.

These are great, Boo.

I spend hours every week looking up at the sky, the clouds - often around sunset. My moments of peace and tranquility.

Lovely!

Sorry to hear about your loss Boo. Your father seemed to be a good photographer.

The second image in particular featuring the rainbow is quite outstanding and would command respect from many acknowledged landscape photographers.

I've re-sized it a little just for others to enjoy as it's posted a little large - hope you don't mind

I would like to express my condolences on the loss of your father. It is difficult to have a parent pass away especially when you are close to them. I realized this last year when my mother passed on. I am glad that he left you some photos as a reminder on how he saw life. The pics are great.

By the way, there was a past thread with the exact same subject title (Clouds) started sometime back and I had placed this picture taken that I always enjoyed.

Thanks all for your condolences, it was a very quick loss so having his pics is a comfort. Everyone who knew him always said how he was never without his camera it was that huge a part of his life. So it's great that others can appreciate & compliment his shots.

dingdongrob, wow that photo is amazing. Really amazing. You should approach a poster company or something about them printing it. :o

Thanks for the help with resizing vulcan, I have no idea on that kind of thing :D
