Kind of like shooting dice in a game of craps good with a 7 on the open & soon you crap out. In this country 2 weeks might be liberal. The better question is who's next? sooner or later it will probably be the toxin miester anyway.

I voted 1 month only because there wasn't a shorter option.

A couple weeks ought to give him some time to clear up some financial loose ends before he (they) get booted out.

We need a larger sample, to get any real result, but I must say it doesn't look good for him so far. Don't the pro-PPP people have a more-positive view of their new leaders' chances ?

I think most folks chances of getting this right are about the same as getting a winning lottery ticket!

Question:

Is the new PM the same guy that was behind the closing policy a few years ago.

You might remember the closing hours was much later than it is today.

He wanted to rid Thailand of its bad image, and came up with the idea to close the bars, pubs, etc earlier. And "Voila" the country would have a nice and clean rep.

Same guy?

Ok, thnx.

Was not sure as I just read he was the secretary for Justice 1999-2006. But then again, I probably confuse this title with something else.

This poll isn't looking very encouraging, for Thailands's new PM, yet he is at least talking to the PAD. Then again, perhaps that is why he isn't expected to last long ?

it's a good idea not to talk about politics in taxi.

i would say P.M. Somchai will remain till the next election or ... the next revolution by PAD and soldiers :o

I would say the 3 months is about right,

Accepting dissolution is next month,

but then some more legal 'I's to dot for a spell.

Unless word comes down from above to speed the plow.

How long they last may be DIRECTLY connected to

how fast they try and

a ) jigger the constitution

and

b ) jigger the books.

Jiggering the books being more acceptable, SOP

the former REALLY putting a fire under the process.

And, as one does, take a look at things from an artistic point, he does have a rather sweet face, that one would never expect to get into any turmoil or confrontational situation..one would think the good fellow was "keeping the toilet seat warm" for his dear brother in law...hasten the day of return!
