Chart, Land Transactions: Fall In June

Featured Replies

if you think the #s will have improved for July, August, September........i suggest you put down the yaba and get out of the sun, good luck bagholders

numbers are as of June 2008, and given that inflation has worsened, and overbuilding continues, and the LOS government is again about to collapse, the #s will be worse

"The total amount of land transactions fell 41 % in june, compared to june 2007, at 32,69 billions THB versus 56,28 billions."

It is all such a confusing and mixed picture ! :D In another thread we have TV member " billa " saying that

he is still making a fortune selling small condominiums in Pattaya and then we have this graph. But the graph

shows there were a number of steep and sudden falls in activity throughout January 05 until now but just didnt

reach the level it is at now ? I am not sure it shows the end just yet :o

You're not going to get unbiased stuff (I don't dare refer to it as "information") on a website calling itself "thaicrisis". Regardless, bingobongo, your posted predictions of a crashing Thai real estate market have been unerringly wrong ever since you've joined ThaiVisa.

glyph, is that best you have? credit markets are frozen, cash is now king, but you will learn in due time the folly of your ways

remember glyph, 4 walls and plaster will not you love you back, save the emotions for the kids and sad movies, not for investment decisions

any idea when the next LOS gvt fails?

What do you expect in this harsh global economy climate. The picture might be the same in all countries.

Inflation is mainly imported, the only thing I agree to is the state of the government, but was that ever different in the past?

falling prices who cares anyway land not selling..very over priced to begin with for a 3rd world country and foreigners can't own it anyway and you can add condos to that over priced list..that will be next.
